Briefe zur Erziehung, die der britische Staatsmann und Schriftsteller Lord Chesterfield für seinen unehelichen Sohn Philip Stanhope geschrieben hat.

Stanhope veröffentlichte die Briefe seines Vaters 1774, ein Jahr nach dessen Tod, in Buchform, obwohl sein Vater dies untersagt haben soll. Voltaire soll es angeblich als bestes Buch über Erziehung, das je geschrieben wurde, gelobt haben.
