Professor of botany and chemistry in Vienna.

Before Johann Conrad Fischer began his second journey to London in 1825, he visited his second youngest son in Vienna, who was studying chemistry and physics there at the time. On this visit, Johann Conrad Fischer made the acquaintance of Joseph Franz von Jacquin, who gave him a tour of the Imperial Natural History collection.
