Wilkinson, John

: Iron Mad Wilkinson

English inventor and industrial pioneer, an early partner of Boulton & Watt; owner of the Bradley Ironworks.

Wilkinson first used the cannon boring or gun drilling method for the manufacture of iron cannon, later in the production of cylinders for Boulton & Watt steam engines.
