Hurter, Melchior

1. February 1735 – 18. December 1811

Melchior Hurter was active in the Netherlands for a long time before he became a captain of artillery in Schaffhausen.

Together with Christoph Jetzler, he gave free lessons in various areas of mathematics in Schaffhausen. Johann Conrad Fischer studied trigonometry and algebra with them.
