A neighbourhood in a narrow valley to the north of the Schaffhausen city centre.

In the days of Johann Conrad Fischer, Mühlental (the ‘mill valley’) was situated outside the city walls. Today it is a suburb of Schaffhausen. Fischer purchased an old mill in the valley in 1802 and he built his foundry there.
