The office to which travellers arriving in the United Kingdom reported, founded in 1793.

The Alien Office for foreign travellers was founded in the wake of the wave of immigration triggered by the French Revolution. The office moved to 20 Crown Street in Whitehall in 1798. Johann Conrad Fischer registered at the office in 1814 and 1825.
