Huntsman, William

1733 – 1809

Son of the cast steel pioneer Benjamin Huntsman.

William Huntsman continued his father’s cast steel enterprise in Attercliffe. He was informed about Johann Conrad Fischer’s success in manufacturing cast steel in a letter from “K—s from W”. He was the father of Francis Huntsman.
